Welcome to Burnt Fork Bend, where chocolate is handcrafted in Stevensville, Montana. My goal is to make the best tasting, highest quality chocolate using fair trade, minimally processed ingredients. I begin the process with raw cocoa beans and add cocoa butter and evaporated cane juice to make 72% as well as 60% dark chocolate. I also make 62% milk chocolate, adding milk powder to the first 3 ingredients. There are no additional additives or preservatives used to make my chocolate.
The cocoa beans come from various countries such as Ecuador, Ghana, Trinidad and Belize. Each bag of beans has a distinct flavor and aroma giving each batch of chocolate its own unique taste. My chocolate is not mass produced. It is handcrafted in small batches allowing a full range of flavors to develop in each and every batch of chocolate.
